Prada, the fashion brand knows that diversity and inclusion is favorable, not only for its reputation but also for increasing its sales, and after the fall it had a few days ago in terms of discrimination, now the brand is doing everything to recover its positioning.
Now, artist Theaster Gates along with film director Ava Duvernay will co-chair the diversity and inclusion advisory board of the Italian fashion house Prada, to elevate voices of color within the brand and in the industry.
According to a statement released by Prada, this France Mobile Number List council will advise the brand as it invests in the development of diverse talent and also expands opportunities for young students of color in the fashion industry.
It will also include the voices of prominent experts, academics and cultural experts from high-level social institutions.
Diversity and inclusion in fashion
Recall that to position itself as drivers of diversity and inclusion, Prada presented film director Spike Lee's exhibition in Milan, "The Black Image Corporation", this fall, while Gucci launched an advertising campaign with only black models that celebrates the dance scene of the late sixties.
